This particular watch comes on a stainless steel ‘1175’ Omega Speedmaster bracelet.
All features are correct on this watch making it original and in exception original condition for the year. Very hard to repeat.

Following the sale of the Rayville-Blancpain name to Jacques Piguet and Jean Claude Biver in 1983, Blancpain began a journey from near-bankruptcy to acting as one of the main catalysts that saved Swiss watchmaking. Key to this success was Blancpain’s steadfast dedication to mechanical watches with thin complicated movements, classical designs, and extremely luxurious craftsmanship. As such, Blancpain’s elegant dress watches became some of the most popular on the market and the brand continued to enjoy incredible growth. As the brand’s way to celebrate Jehan-Jacques Blancpain’s birthday, the brand’s original founder, the Jubilee Limited Edition Ultra Slim was launched in 1993 as a limited edition collection of 300 pieces. Featuring a 34mm 18kt white gold case built using the same elegant design language as most of Blancpain’s popular offerings, the Jubilee Limited Edition Ultra Slim’s thin profile, stepped bezel and hefty 18kt white gold case ensured it was a delight to wear. Manually-wound through its cal. 64-1 movement, the ref. 7001 is the culmination of Blancpain’s traditionalist watchmaking ideologies. As such, it features a simple white dial whose only reference to its commemorative status is the “1693-1993” inscription found in its subseconds dial at 6 o’clock.

These examples are particularly rare and collectible by vintage watch collectors as they use the same movement, VL 72 movement used in the Rolex Daytona “Paul Newman”.

This attractive IWC Ingenieur is modern interpretation of the older Ingenieur SL reference 1832 which was designed by none other than the great Gérald Genta. After designing the Royal Oak and the Nautilus, the master designed the third generation of their Ingenieur-line, which was released in a radically different design. The cushion-shaped case features 5 distinct recesses in the bezel which are used to apply the screwing tools and further serve as decoration for the watch.
Thanks to the popularity of other watches designed by the great Gérald Genta, the IWC Ingenieur ‘Jumbo’ also benefits from increasing attention which led the brand to create this new version adapted to today’s tastes.

Seiko GS Grand Seiko First – Ref: J14070 – Excellent Example. 1960’s. Just Serviced.

JUST SERVICED TELLING PERFECT TIME. BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE. VERY ORIGINAL. ON AN AFTERMARKET STRAP AND BUCKLE.
Introduced in Japan on December 18 of 1960, it was the first Japanese watch to pass the rating of the Bureaux Officiels de Contrôle de la Marche des Montres. Seiko’s goal was to create the ideal watch, according to the highest standards of precision, beauty, legibility and durability.
Manufactured by Suwa Seikosha, it housed the caliber 3180 (later renamed 5720), which combined some characteristics of the movements previously developed by Seiko for the Lord Marvel and the Crown. The claimed accuracy was +12/-3 seconds per day.
Most of the examples produced feature a case coated with a layer of 14-karat gold that is 80 microns thick (considerably thicker than common gold plating). Some examples with platinum cases were also produced, much rarer and more expensive than the previous ones. The latter are not present in the catalogs of the time, but their existence is officially confirmed by Seiko.
According to the official version, the first Grand Seiko was never produced with a steel case, and the specimens of this type that are occasionally seen on the second-hand market are almost certainly assembled watches, containing non-original or modified parts.
Both in the gold filled examples and in those in platinum, we find different variations of the dial. In some examples, particularly in the early ones, the Grand Seiko logo located at 12 o’clock is engraved or printed, while in others (most of them) the logo is raised.
