Being one of the most recognizable watches in the world, the OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M needs little introduction. With a built-tough, professional-grade steel case, laser-engraved wave dial, and often finding itself as the modern watch of choice for James Bond, few watches maintain – and deserve – praise so much as the Seamaster Diver 300M.
This model, the ref. 2552.80.00, is a distinctly 2000s edition of the Seamaster 300M, featuring a classic style recalling the watch used in 1995’s “GoldenEye” and executed in a highly-versatile 36mm mid-size diameter. From the waves on the dial, to the pop of red on the seconds hand and cool steel bezel insert, to the case’s twisted lugs – there is so much to love about this watch that has come to embody OMEGA’s brand presence in the 1990s and early 2000s.
While distinguished in terms of aesthetic to the era from which it was born, the model is nonetheless a classic example of the professional Seamaster collection, showcasing plenty of favorites like a curvy 300m water resistant case, polished and brushed finishing throughout, a 10 o’clock helium escape valve, and – of course – a signature wavy laser engraved dial harkening back to the waves for which the watch was crafted. The bracelet is something to write home about, too; nearly unique within the history of OMEGA, this ultra-comfortable piece of steel has become a real favorite among collectors.
Powered by the Omega caliber 1120, based upon the ETA 2892-A2, the automatic-powered model is ready for anything, serving as an ideal grab-and-go sports watch perfectly suited for your next adventure – whether that’s on the waves or in the office.
