An excellent condition pre-owned titanium 42mm case size quartz multifunction calibre 1666 gentleman’s Omega Speedmaster Professional Skywalker X-33 (3290.50.00) featuring a black baton dial with LCD screens used to house the following features: Alarm, 24 Hours, 24 Hours GMT, Chronograph & Day-Date. This impressive watch was developed to meet the needs not only of astronauts but of anyone who can appreciate its impressive variety of functions, it comes on a full retail length Titanium bracelet and is complete with its original box and all relevant paperwork being originally supplied as new in April 2008.
The Speedmaster has long been the watch most associated with space flight, both in its public image and in its official certification by NASA. But while it is a superb timepiece that has served reliably for astronauts over many decades, it is still based on a design from the 1950s. The space voyagers of future generations would need something a little more advanced, and that’s what they got with the Speedy’s high-tech upgrade, the X-33. First released in 1998, it was designed according to the demands and specifications of astronauts and aviators, and has been enthusiastically used by them, including on the International Space Station. The watch uses the best in quartz technology to create a dual digital-analogue display, with impressive advanced functionality required for technical operations.
