Due to the small sizes of their markets, these models were discontinued quickly. Yet, the Sea-Dweller that actually was a modified Submariner and was targeted to a specific group of people who wanted to dive deeper than a Submariner could, has been around since 1969 and is still in production. The reference 16600 was introduced in 1989 as the successor and more-developed version of the ‘Triple Six’ Sea-Dweller (reference 16660). It has sapphire crystal, a glossy black dial with white-gold applied hour markers and luminescent insert. It is powered by the calibre 3135. The case, bezel and bracelet are unpolished, maintaining sharp edges.

SWISS ONLY DIAL. ONLY PRODUCED FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. DIAL OVER TIME DEVELOPS A LOVELY PURPLE COLOUR. RARE AND VERY COLLECTABLE.
The “Swiss” dial positioned at 6 o’clock only had a short production from 1998 – 2000. This is because in 1998 tritium was banned due to the radioactivity it emitted. Rolex then converted their luminous hour markers into “Luminova” a non radio active lume.
40mm case size in stainless steel & yellow gold, blue other dial on a stainless steel & yellow gold oyster bracelet, powered by an automatic movement.
This Rolex is in exceptional condition complete with Rolex box, manuals, international guarantee/warranty paperwork, anchor and swing tags.

Limited to 6969 pieces world-wide: An unworn stainless steel & 18ct Moonshine gold gentleman’s mechanical hand wound calibre 3861 movement Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Moonwatch (310.20.42.50.01.001) featuring a grey and black baton dial surrounded by a black ceramic tachymetre bezel. This particular watch comes on a stainless steel Omega Speedmaster bracelet and is complete with its impressive anniversary box, Velcro strap, eye glass and all relevant paperwork being originally UK supplied as new in August 2019.
The Speedmaster is one of OMEGA’s most iconic timepieces, having been a part of all six moon landings. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 in 1969, OMEGA presents this Limited Edition model of 6,969 pieces.
The watch includes a 42 mm case in stainless steel with a polished 18K Moonshine Gold bezel. The bezel ring is polished black ceramic [ZrO2] with an OMEGA Ceragold tachymeter scale. There is a varnished grey and black dial with all indexes and hands in 18K Moonshine Gold – except the central chronograph seconds hand, which is PVD-coated in Moonshine Gold. A unique hour marker is positioned at 11 o’clock, and there is a distinctive 9 o’clock subdial in 18K Moonshine Gold with a laser-engraved image of Buzz Aldrin climbing down onto the lunar surface.
The NAIAD LOCK caseback reveals numerous engravings, while a laser-engraved astronaut’s footprint is positioned on a medallion under the sapphire crystal. 18K Moonshine Gold-plated lettering includes the quote: “THAT’S ONE SMALL STEP FOR A MAN” and “ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND”.
The watch is presented on a polished-brushed metallic bracelet and comes with an additional Velcro strap with black-coated cork. Inside, it is powered by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 3861.

While most of the watch industry was being ravaged by the quartz crisis, the 1970s and 1980s were a creative time for Audemars Piguet.We particularly love their bold and funky gold dress watches from that era. This geometric beauty from the 1980s is the perfect example. Executed in 18k white-gold, it forgoes the traditional looks of a dress watch, instead offering a lovely octagonal design that is reminiscent of the famous Royal Oak.
The watch features a 27 mm x 32 mm octagonal case and a luxurious integrated 18k white-gold bracelet. The bracelet features thin cylindrical links with connecting rings that are reminiscent of bamboo stalks. This intricate detailing is included on the bezel as well, with the rings cleverly situated on the hour positions.

The new generation of Rolex Explorer watches consists of the two-tone ref. 124273 and the all-stainless steel reference 124270. As is customary for the collection, both models are exclusively fitted with black dials, but while the previous generation of the Explorer featured a 39mm case, the new generation returns to the original size. A case diameter of 36mm is hardly something new for Rolex, but this change suddenly makes the recently-discontinued reference 214270 a significantly more compelling purchase from an investment perspective.
As it currently stands, the reference 214270 is the only Rolex Explorer model to feature a 39mm case. Since its introduction, the Explorer has historically been a 36mm watch and while there are some 34mm variants, the recently discontinued ref. 214270 is the only example to ever feature a larger case. Many collectors feel that 39mm is somewhat of a sweet spot when it comes to size, and the larger case of the now-discontinued Explorer 214270 makes it unique and instantly recognizable from all other Rolex Explorer watches.

The Rolex 226570 for sale here is the latest iteration of the brand’s iconic spelunker’s tool watch. Released in 2021, the newer-model Explorer II boasts every upgrade available to the Rolex catalog. That includes the next-generation cal. 3285 Perpetual movement, complete with a 70-hour power reserve and an upgraded Chronergy escapement.
Reference 226570 also features desirable Chromalight blue luminous plots on the dial, 904L Oystersteel, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a Twinlock waterproof screw-down crown. It also keeps the same 42mm diameter and is still available with either a black or white dial topped with the series’ signature orange arrow hand.
