In 1927, Walter Storz founded STOWA as a separate brand within his father’s watch factory in Hornberg, Germany.

Stowa, is today a reference in German watchmaking

In the beginning Walter Storz, In 1927, he founded his own company, as an outgrowth of his father’s large watch factory in Hornberg / Kinzigtal, trying to compete head-to-head with Swiss watches that were manufactured in small factories.

Very soon it specialized in the production of very precise and resistant high quality chronometers. She became famous for being one of the producers of observer’s watches of the time, 1930s and 1940s, for the German Army.

Rare model. Extremely hard to find in this condition. Very original. Supplied with new nato strap and original leather strap.

Watch as been inspected, checked, tested and detailed. Any inspection welcome.
