    This fine men’s chronographic wristwatch provides an energetic aesthetic for any adventurous watch enthusiast. The dial is an exuberant shade of yellow, with black accents. It features three two-tone sunken sub-dials, and date window at the 3 o’clock. The sub-dials layout on the dial delivers a 30 minute counter at the 12 o’clock, 12 hour counter at the 6 o’clock, 60 seconds counter at the 9 o’clock. This timepiece boasts a Swiss made, self winding automatic movement, of caliber 1152, and water resistance to 50m. It features a stainless steel engraved Tachymetre bezel and sapphire crystal. The case is back stamped with the Omega Hippocampus seahorse logo. The 3511.12 provides a diameter of 39mm, and comes on a stainless steel. Omega bracelet with an Omega deployant buckle bracelet.

    The Ref. 3539.50.00 is the legendary Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch but in a smaller “reduced” size of 39mm in diameter.

    It boasts a similar aesthetic as its larger predecessors with a stainless steel finish, a multi-link bracelet, and black dial and Tachymeter bezel.

    It also boasts a calibre 3220 self-winding movement with chronograph functions and a 40-hour power reserve.

    The incredible 500-kilometer Tachymeter bezel and chronograph functions can be used by the wearer to calculate impressive speeds, making it a favourite among professional drivers.

    Also referred to by avid collectors in-the-know as the Reduced II, the ref. 3539.50 features an improved design with a higher depth rating, a better clasp, and a cleaner dial.

    It was with OMEGA’s maritime legacy in mind that the brand launched its Planet Ocean line in 2005. The stylish OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M pays homage to OMEGA’s dive watch heritage.

    This model, with its scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, features a black dial with a date window at the 3 o’clock position. The orange unidirectional rotating divers’ bezel is mounted on a 45.5 mm stainless steel case on a stainless steel bracelet.

    The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is water resistant to 600 metres / 2000 feet / 60 bar, and has a helium-escape valve. The Co-Axial calibre 2500 is at the heart of this certified chronometer.

    The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean is a modern dive watch inspired by watches from Omega’s rich past, most notably the Seamaster 300. This version is part of the first generation, which are powered by the caliber 2500 movement.

    Reference 2909.50.38 has a 42mm case with orange diving bezel. The dial features orange numerals. It is fitted with an orange alligator strap.

    Artya Liquid Dial – Only 1 Made. Full Set. 2011.

    Description

    Artya Liquid dial, a one-off piece manufactured in 2011.

    Considered one of the most unique luxury watch brands of all time, ArtyA does not fit into any existing category of traditional watchmaking but creates its own boundaries with rare, limited edition designs exclusive to the courageous. Crafted in central Geneva, Switzerland, ArtyA watches are designed by avant-garde creator Yvan Arpa who after making his own significant contribution to the luxury watch industry, launched his own brand in 2010 under the ArtyA name. Remaining entirely independent, ArtyA watches are one of only a few Swiss brands to have its own manufacture with a selection of in-house tourbillons, minute repeater and perpetual calendar movements.

    They are perhaps best known for the lightening strike watches where the cases are shaped using ‘lightening” bolts from a Tesla coil striking the case to melt and mould the metal.

    This model has a 47mm 316l steel case with a black DLC treatment. It has an engraved and screwed back case and triple anti-reflective treatment on the sapphire crystal. The hand made dial is actually acrylic paint between two pieces of glass. The paint stayed liquid for a length of time during which time it would spread around according to the movements of the watch, eventually setting in a totally unique pattern. The watch is powered by the ArtyA A82 Automatic movement which is an in-house modified ETA showing hours, minutes, and seconds, and with a 50 hour power reserve. The watch comes on a high quality Ballistic Nylon strap.

    Whilst the watch measures 47mm, it has short, angled-down lugs and is fairly thin, so actually wears a bit smaller on the wrist than the dimensions might suggest.

    As stated this is a unique piece. Artyahad planned to make more but only ended up making this one, which was originally gifted to a personal friend of Yvan Arpa, who was involved in the design, and specified the silver “Lightening Bolt” handset fitted to the watch, over the planned hand-set as featured in the Artya Art book photographs of the watch.

    The watch is in excellent unmarked condition and comes with everything from new in terms of box/papers, plus there is some provenance from Yvan’s friend, the original owner.

    Heuer Ref 12 – Small Heuer Shield – Circa 1979 – Original And Very Rare. Beautiful.

    Description

    This is a stunning and extremely rare 1970’s Heuer Ref. 12. Featuring the superb and robust manual wind Valjoux 7734 movement.

    The Ref.12 seems to have slipped under the Heuer radar due to the lack of information about it online. Another reason is that they weren’t sold in great numbers. Becoming very sought after.

    What intrigued me about this particular model are the slight differences to that of other Ref. 12. Most notable is the Heuer shield, which is much smaller. Granted, the shield on the other example is oversized, so emphasises the difference. The lume dot markers are placed slightly differently too, being ‘on’ the ends of the hour markers not just ‘off’ them. I’ve seen another version of the Ref. 12 which had markings on the right hand subdial similar to that found on a Autavia, with three coloured arcs. I can only presume this is yet another Heuer oddity, during the same time period, the dive watch range went through similar changes. Almost as if Heuer were selling all the different designs until one was settled on.

    Very rare to find in this condition. Any inspection welcome.
