Comes with Omega box (different model) and original Bond style bracelet Ref.: 1501/823.

The Seamaster is the longest running product line still produced by Omega. It was introduced in 1948 to celebrate Omegas 100th anniversary and was loosely based upon designs made for the British Royal Navy towards the end of World War II. The original Seamaster’s key feature was an O-ring gasket used to provide its waterproof seal. Today it remains the oldest model in Omega’s current collection.
This particular Seamaster is a most handsome chap with its stunning pink/purple ri dial and opulent silver dial furniture. The elegant stick hands have subtle luminous inserts in keeping with the hour plots and the framed day/date window balances a simple yet stylish dial design. The tonneau case is in mint condition and the meaty Omega signed crown adds to the dimensions – this watch definitely wears larger on the wrist. Teamed with its original Omega bracelet, this watch is understated and sophisticated, the perfect all rounder, carrying the wearer seamlessly from day to evening wear. Competitively priced, particularly considering its condition, this Seamaster would make a wonderful gift.

In the beginning Walter Storz, In 1927, he founded his own company, as an outgrowth of his father’s large watch factory in Hornberg / Kinzigtal, trying to compete head-to-head with Swiss watches that were manufactured in small factories.
Very soon it specialized in the production of very precise and resistant high quality chronometers. She became famous for being one of the producers of observer’s watches of the time, 1930s and 1940s, for the German Army.
