Zenith presented the ChronoMaster at the Basel fair in 1994.
That was a good year for Zenith when during one and the same year they launched the 6 series (Elite movement), the calibre 420 hand wound El Primero (Zenith Prime) and the Zenith ChronoMaster (calibre 400 or 410)! You could choose between calibre 400 El Primero automatic chronograph with date or calibre 410 with date, day, month and moon phase. The calibre 400 or 410 were of course not new.
What was new about the Zenith ChronoMaster was the careful effort put into the design (in a classical 1950’s style), the name “ChronoMaster” (which can also be traced back to the 1950’s), and the seasoning with a chronometer certificate.
When they were introduced all Zenith ChronoMasters were COSC certified chronometers.Although the Zenith El Primero is a born chronometer, AFAIK it was the first time that Zenith took the trouble to get COSC certificates for the El Primero.
This short introduction and overview will further focus on the most iconic model: the moon phase ChronoMaster (cal. 410), and only during the early years (1994-98).

A stunning 1970’s Omega Speedmaster Mark II Racing Dial.
A super rare ’15 Pulsations’ bezel crystal. Very hard to repeat.
The Speedmaster MK2 is often called the ‘exotic’ dial or ‘racing’ dial when it comes with it’s colourful orange and red markings around the outside minute track and orange chronograph hands that look great set against the flat grey dial.
The change to the Omega Speedmaster case for the mark 2 also saw the application of the ‘sunburst’ finish that contrasts the highly polished beveled edges, typical of the innovative case styles that Omega produced throughout the 70s.
This watch case is in stunning condition for what is a 45+ year old watch.

This OMEGA Speedmaster Spacemaster Z-33 is inspired by the iconic “Pilot Line” case shape of the firm and is equipped with a new and exclusive multifunction quartz movement, the caliber 5666. Floating above the digital dial, there is a set of hands. analogue measurement gauges, which are adjusted using the crown at 3 o’clock.
Surrounding the watch, there are four pushers which, together with the crown, allow full control of the display of digital functions. Those functions include date, UTC and two time zones, alarm and perpetual calendar.
Elapsed time is measured with a chronograph function and a countdown timer. It also has self-programming professional pilot functions, to record up to ten flights and view those records with date and time stamps. The case is made of grade 5 titanium, with a black rubber strap.

Paying tribute to the original and first Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso launched in 1931, the JLC Reverso Tribute Small Seconds in stainless steel with burgundy red dial is one of the sexiest watches out there and for sure one of our favorites. In a hue that could also be described as ‘ox-blood’ color, the watch features an iconic Casa Fagliano matching red strap. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso was originally launched in 1931 as a convenient watch for polo players. The purpose of the Reverso was to be able to maintain the front of the watch protected during a polo match by virtue of swiveling and exposing a solid case back on the front. A perfect example of the Art Deco movement, the JLC Reverso is also one of the most iconic timepieces of all time.

Sword hands with Spear Seconds hand with short tip.The overall condition of the watch is excellent for what is a 50+ year old watch. There are some light marks to the case, but no dings, dents or deep scratches. The watch does not look to have been polished much (if at all) during its life with all case-back engravings still deep and clear. The Bakelite bezel insert is also in very good condition. Most examples would now have cracked through but there are no signs of that on this watch. Of course, the stand out feature of this watch is the stunning patina of the Tritium dial and hands that have aged to a very even and matching rich mustard colour most coveted by collectors, with little to none of the blackening and staining that is often found on vintage Seamaster 300’s. All in all, a truly stunning example of one of the most iconic Divers watches ever produced, that can be worn and enjoyed whilst also being a sound investment, as it continues to appreciate in value.

A collection that would align with Aston Martin’s highest levels of inventiveness, skill and determination.
The present lot is an Amvox 1 R-Alarm, which features 260 individual parts and a suspended gong to create a strong acoustic experience when the alarm function is initiated. With a contemporary design appearance that is inspired by Aston Martin Cars, the present watch in a limited number of 500 pieces is truly fascinating piece of art.

Zenith Heritage 38mm watch. Model reference: 03.2150.4069/51.C805. The stylish timepiece impresses with its modesty and performance. The rounded 38mm case of 12.45mm thickness is performed in stainless steel. The blue sunray dial has applied indexes, a painted scale, and leaf-shaped hands with luminous fill for hour and minute indicating. The seconds are tracked with the small sub-dial at 9 o’clock. The central thin hand serves as a seconds chronograph. The 30-minute counter is placed at 3 o’clock. There is a tachymetric scale on the outer chapter ring. The mechanical self-winding El Primero 4069 movement has 35 jewels and 254 components. It features approximately 50-hour power reserve.
